Ever like.. given your best to someone but it wasn't enough?

They're fine with it until someone else comes along who is better, smarter, more like them.



Then you get so jealous.. and are confused why you care so much about the opinion of someone who just. Hurts you all the time. And they've got no idea how you feel.

But you don't want them to because you're scared.

I think the greatest fear mankind has is being alone.

And it's what terrifies me the most.
